We are almost at the end of the Sephora VIB Summer Bonus Sale! And even though we have been busy painting and fixing our place up, I could not resist going in and stocking up and trying some new stuff. I have tried a few things and wanted to share a quick list of must haves from the sale!
- Cheek Palette: My mom actually got THIS bronzing/highlight/blush palette in Bronze for herself, and I tried it the other day and was OBSESSED! It has my fav bronzer in it (the Hoola bronzer) along with other bronzer, highlight and blush shades – and each one is to die for. The highlighter Cookie has become my new fav! I went and bought the palette for myself too!
- Setting Powder: Another thing my mom got that I instantly fell in love with is THIS setting powder. I typically use and love the Laura Mercier translucent powder, but honestly this one won me over! I have it in the shade Medium, and it’s perfect. On my mom, I noticed that it helped blur out any fine lines and made her skin look airbrushed. Our makeup lasted ALL DAY LONG too. Win!
- Moisturizer: I love and swear by the Tatcha Water Cream, but a while ago they came out with THIS one, and the second it dropped I ordered it. Let me tell you, it was a game-changer. Since I have dry skin, I like my moisturizer to feel rich and thick. Some people don’t like any residue or have more acne-prone skin (so you’ll love the Water Cream). But if you’re like me, and you like to feel your moisturizer, you will love the Dewy Skin Cream. It is rich and hydrating and feels so good on your skin!
- Mascara: I was in need of a new mascara, so I figured the sale would be the perfect tome to try something new, and OMG I am so glad I did! It tried THIS one by Charlotte Tilbury, and it’s my new found love. I love the formula and how it made my lashes look a mile long. It also doesn’t budge which I love, because I always struggle with smudged mascara under my eyes LOL. My other go-to is the They’re Real mascara by Benefit. This one lives up to it’s name – I can’t tell you how many times I have been asked if I had falsies on while wearing this mascara. It makes my lashes sooo long and full!
- My favorite eyeliner of all time is THIS one by Charlotte Tilbury. I use the shade Barbella Brown – I never use black eyeliner because I feel like brown looks way more natural. This liner is creamy and pigmented but controlled at the same time if that makes sense. I have tried many in the past that are so creamy you can’t get a good line and it smudges everywhere, but this one is easy to put on and sets all day!
- Eye cream: I have been looking for a new eye cream, so when my favorite brand came out with a new one, I knew I had to try it. THIS cream by Tatcha is a must have! It feels so silky, and in the short time I have used it, I feel like when I put it on my eyes instantly look and feel tighter, less puffy and brighter! Will definitely keep using this and update you guys!
- Invisibobble hair ties: THESE hair ties are one of the ways I try to be gentle on my hair. They don’t rip my hair out, but hold it just as good as any elastic hair tie! I also love these because they don’t scrunch or dent my hair when its styled! They come in lots of cute colors too and they don’t look bad if you forget them on your wrist like I do LOL (case in point: the picture for this post LOL.
- Hair: Hands down, THIS is the best dry shampoo EVER! It freshens my hair on days when I don’t wash it. It also adds a little texture which makes my curls look better and last longer! It’s a bit pricey but sooo worth it in my opinion – plus, a little does go a long way with it.
- Brows: I have naturally thick and shaped eyebrows, so I don’t need too much filling, but I still like to touch up any spots with THIS brow pen by Anastasia Beverly Hills. It is so easy to use and so natural looking. I instantly see a difference by just using a little bit of this. I have the shade Dark Brown!
- Lipstick: It is official folks – I have found my perfect nude! I picked THIS one up by Charlotte Tilbury (are you noticing a trend here?? LOL), and I could not resist. It is the prettiest pinky-nude shade. It’s also a satin finish, which I love because I’ve officially hopped off the matte lip bandwagon. This one is super hydrating and so comfortable to wear. I bought the shade Penelope Pink, and it is the perfect every-day color.
Excited to try these:
- Finishing Spray: When I walked into Sephora the first thing I saw was the Farsali Section. THIS finishing spray caught my eye, and I decided to try it! Haven’t given it a go yet but will update ya’ll on what I think of it. I love Farsali’s products because they are all so hydrating so we’ll see about this one!
- Tatcha Essence: If you saw my skincare post, you’ll know I LOVE the Caudalie Essence. I decided to try this one as well because Tatcha is another favorite of mine. I’ll compare the two and let ya’ll know what I think!
Also todays outfit has become one of my favorites! I wore it while in NY but never got a chance to share it!
