When I bought this CeCe dress and tried it on, I felt like I just needed to be somewhere in a field of flowers. It’s soooo soft and romantic, and it reminded me of the French countryside (something I am utterly obsessed with, BTW). Luckily, a couple of days later, my sister-in-law told us about the poppy “Super Bloom” in Lake Elsinore, and it could not have been more perfect timing. We made the trip this past Saturday, and it was breathtaking! All of the hills were covered in these fiery orange blooms, and it was heavenly. We stopped at this stunning hill full of poppies and purple flowers, but you guys, it was a treacherous hike, and I did it in a dress and sandals LOL!! It was all worth the risk though, because these poppies were absolutely GORGEOUS! Apparently it got too crazy, and all access to the trails have been closed to the public due to the traffic, so I feel so lucky to have experienced it!
This adorable dress is perfect for spring/summer. It has soft, delicate ruffles at the sleeves and the prettiest floral pattern. I am typically very particular about floral prints, because they are often too loud and in your face, but this print is perfect. It is colorful, yet still simple and toned down. The colors and cut of the dress are so elegant and flattering too! Honestly, I could go on for days raving about it. It’s also super comfortable (I am wearing an XS which fit me perfectly).
This dress is a great choice for any upcoming spring weddings or events! I paired with with flat sandals for ease, but I can’t wait to wear it with a pair of high heeled sandals and maybe even a cute straw hat!
